MUDSA: Manchester United Disabled Supporters Association – We all Need

What is Disability if asked to positivity will be responded as no such word found in the dictionary. MUDSA is an inspirational organization that supports disability, in fact it shares happiness. MUDSA states that We Are United, United in the sense that they will never ever leave you alone and will share their happiness with you.

On the story of MUDSA, there is an exclusive 25 years of Documentary marking 25 years of the Manchester United Disabled Supporters Association. The documentary, which has been nominated for a Royal Television Society award, tells the tales of some of the club’s most inspirational, dedicated and loyal fans through the eyes of secretary and founder Phil Downs MBE.

How the story of Manchester United Disabled Supporters Association (MUDSA) began is interesting. Phil Downs wanted to be a Police Officer and while training hard, unfortunately Phil was left severely disabled following a tragic accident and found solace in his love for Manchester United and this is how MUDSA got a start with Phil leading the heart-warming and challenging journey with his team of associates, helping to grow membership to more than 1,000 members worldwide.

MUDSA as the best inspirational organization has now gathered people with disability and moreover, they are not alone over there, many celebrities have joined hands to support them fully. Phil Downs has been dedicated to improve the lives on a much better level where disability remains as no word. She strongly supports positivity.

The amazing documentary will be shown on MUTV at 19:00 GMT on Sunday 23 October, straight after the channel’s Match Day Live programme for Chelsea V United.
